The way I see it...

9/11

The live broadcast of the 4th 9/11 memorial was played here last night and I happened to catch the bulk of the program. It's amazing how vividly I can remember that day from beginning to end. The build up to the towers actually collapsing and the aftermath that ensued. It's crazy how such a tragic occurence can still bring out so many forgotten emotions and how I immediately associate 9/11 to Hurricane Katrina. The massive loss of life and pain that so many people are experiencing is unimaginable. A mere monetary donation to a Hurrican Katrina relief fund seems so petty and trivial especially when I am living the good life overseas. It is just frustrating not being able to help more and I needed to vent a bit...

  • if you care and you influence the people around you, you helped...

  • scottie, your public urination days i feel must go back even further than the many concerts we've been to where you fill up a plastic cup with urine and deposit it by some poor fool's feet on the floor. i have a feeling they go much, much further back than that. i think scottie was peeing publicly right out of the womb. he probably urinated on the operating room floor.
