I drop ole Pete off at work and head up to the mountain for a relaxing day of boarding all by my lonesome. To my dismay, when I reach the top all I find is people exiting the mountain at a rapid rate bc of the terrible loss of snow and unfavorable rainy conditions. So I turn around disappointed and disgruntled. On my way back down the mountain I encounter a rainbow that is right at eye level with me. As I move closer to the colorful spectrum I almost find myself being able to reach out and touch it. I am mystified by the shear beauty of this random phenomenon and I can't help but appreciate it. Isn't it peculiar how a day of disappointment can immediately turn into a day of wonder and amazement. Its a crazy world we live in!
